Thank you again for another wonderful stay at your place. It's kind of like home away from home by now. We always enjoy coming back to the relaxing and friendly atmosphere, the good cooking and all the little special touches. Anyway, we really enjoyed our stay again and our short visit with you. Take care and we look forward to the next time. - Denise and Bob
"This evening before sunset we saw several things from the wonderful windows in
this room. There were many Shearwaters (all sooty) gathering over the ocean.
As the tide rose, 4 harbor seals took to the water and swam out to feed. The
Pintail meeting at the edge of the water close by defended their nest from the
Great Blue Heron. Six different species of shorebirds were in view at the same
time. The Caspian Terns' bill lit up in the colors of sunset. It's great that
the glass is easy to look through!! Wait 'til dawn for the best with the sun
behind you! All the birds can be studied with a telescope from the edge of the
bed. Then have breakfast and a boat ride or hike around the loop." Rod, Texas
... who was staying in the Boathouse of Captain's Inn.
"Excellent every thing was very clean and well kept. We had a wonderful stay
here .Everything was great and we look forward to coming back soon." Jean,
Sacramento
"We wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay with you. Your inn is
charming, and you very hospitable. Your breakfasts were delicious, and way above
other B&B's. The boat ride up the Elkhorn Slough was a great adventure, and we
loved every minute of it." Harley & Norma
"Waking up in your rooms at sunrise, is just like waking up inside a Monet painting." Jeanette & Bob
"Everything was wonderful, we both wanted to move in & never leave. The room was

"Observed a group of 15 White Pelicans cruising up the waterway and feeding,
right from our room. This is the first time I've seen them feed, and it was
quite entertaining. They scoop downward and backward with their bills, then
bring their catch up so that they can swallow it by tossing it back into their
throats. Great birding spot, very peaceful." Kris, Felton
"Our stay was perfect. You're a wonderful cook." Hans, Sweden
"Thanks for the binoculars to view the bird by!" Casey, Tujunga
"Very pleasant, peaceful, and felt pampered breakfast." Katherine, Rocklin
"It was a great get away for us, friendly people & quiet. Felt very welcome and
comfortable." Jill, Pebble Beach
"Very comfortable and clean, it made it easy to relax and unwind (especially
with the tub for two) WOW, just from the room the view is wonderful, one could
sit in their room all day and enjoy the wildlife." Cindy & Mike
"The best B&B we ever stayed in. The breakfast was very good. Melanie is very
accommodating. Captain Yohn and his Safari was excellent." Tobie & Tom
"Breakfasts were tops." Doug
"I so enjoyed the house as a place for us "weary" to relax and be tranquil in. From the fireplace to the living room to the roses, to the theme, to the quietness and peace, and "small town" feeling ... thank you." - Sherry
"The decor is adorable, nice and clean, good lighting. Loved the fireplace with
pinecone! The food, boat, friendliness etc. were excellent. Can you tell I
enjoyed myself?" Vivian, Nipomo
"The shower, the shower, you outdid yourselves with that double size shower we felt like a pampered king and queen." Leonard and Alice
"We've been to B&B's before, but the Captain's Inn is the best. The nautical
decor gives a warm feeling of being home to maritime lovers. The innkeepers-
Captain Yohn and Melanie- are warm and friendly people who welcome you and make
you feel at home. Foods: Charlie Moss' is a great place to go for a quick
bite - order crab in winter. Phil's has the best creamy, rich clam chowder. The Whole
Enchilada has yummy seafood - Mexican style. You won't be disappointed. Our Tip:
Definitely get the massage at the Inn. The massage will work out all those
tensions with strong yet gentle massaging techniques. After her massage
you'll feel centered, relaxed, and focused for the day. She gives a little
heaven on earth." Kellie, Los Angeles
"Thank you for two nights of bliss. You make us feel like family." Fred and Kathy
