Romance & Sweetheart Special This special package lets you add a special touch to your romantic weekend at the Inn. Great for annniversary, birthday, engagements, valentines, and other special times. The package includes special scents for your soaking tub (or scented gel for your shower), a box of hand dipped chocolate truffles, a bouquet of fresh flowers complete with a note from you (bouquet that your sweetheart can take home after check out), cooled lemonade, and fresh fruit (seasonal selection). All will be waiting for your sweetheart in your room before you arrive. This package is available for only $59.00.

Midweek Special A coastal getaway is the ideal way to celebrate the spring. When you stay in the Inn's Boathouse for two nights or more, Monday to Thursday, in May and June 2008 you will get 10% off each midweek night. With oversized, double headed showers or deep soothing soaking tubs, our waterfront accommodations will make you smile. Not available for three/four day holiday weekends and can not be combined with other discount packages. Request midweek when you make reservations.

Massage by the Sea Special Enjoy a one hour massage with our licensed and certified massage therapist. You can enjoy this relaxing escape without leaving our inn. The hour includes a choice of massage style, aromatic oils, and calm music. A favorite with our hard working guests. This package is available for $95.00 over your room rate. Couples just love two hours back to back.

Returning Guests Special If you have stayed at the Captain's Inn, you are well aware that the Captain's Wife has a love affair with all things the color of blue. With our appreciation, we have a gift for all returning guests: a pair of blue stem champagne flutes to take home with you. Good until supplies run out, with a limit of one pair per room.

4th of July!!! Our local rock quarry has a wonderful fourth event every other year complete with FIREWORKS. You are in luck - as they hold it in 2008. This event includes live music of all sorts: country western, old time rock and rock, symphony playing popular tunes, and the headliner - Kenny Loggins! The afternoon starts with a chicken BBQ with all the trimmings like salads and bread . There are food booths to buy olallaberry pie, strawberry shortcake, cotton candy, and more. The fireworks are exploded in coordination with the symphony playing patriotic pieces. The evening ends with a dance. Us, our family, and our employees will be attending. Tickets including BBQ are $66 per adult, we are happy to get our guests tickets as soon as they appear.

Watch Wildlife Our area is just wonderful for wildlife watching. Add a wildlife adventure to your stay, at a discount rate for those who stay at our Inn. You can take "Elkhorn Slough Safari" guided nature boat tour to see otters, birds, seals and more on the calm waters of the slough. Or you can go out whale watching with "Sanctuary Cruises" to find blues, grays, humpbacks, dolphins, and others. Call us for details and discounts for "watching" tickets when you stay with us! .

Gallop on the Beach Just a few minutes from our Inn, you can take a horseback ride along the beach. Our local equestrian center offers quality rides at the ocean with well trained horses accustom to being at the shore. This fun activity is by advance appointment only. Call us for details and discounts for "horseback" when you stay two or more days with us.

Golf Bayonet and Black Horse "Stay and Play" on a nearby championship golf course at a discount for our guests. Your "Stay and Play" package includes: golf for two, range, and cart plus your choice of either Bayonet or Black Horse premier courses. Bayonet and Blackhorse are located less than 15 minutes South of the Inn. Request in advance to get great tee times.

Mazda Laguna Seca Raceway Package stays for events at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca are available! We are only twelve miles from the back gate of the raceway. We offer packages for those attending the U.S. Sports Car Invitational , the AMA Superbike, and the Monterey Sports Car Championships. The race and room package includes two "3-day" admission and paddock passes, call us for prices. Please put "Mazda" in the message field for online bookings, or just ask when you call us. Other races scheduled (no ticket packages available) include MotoGP World Championship and Historic Auto Races. See you at the races.

Beach Frolic Package This special package lets you add a fun to your beach walk while staying at the Inn. The package includes a backpack to borrow which includes a beach blanket, beach pail and shovel for castle building, a walking trail map, frisbee, (kite too if the day is right), cool drinks and a small snack. This package is available for an additional $25.00.

Bikes to Rent Two mountain bikes are available to rent at the Inn. One is a gal's bike and one is a guy's bike. You can pedal to the harbor, historic sites, along a dirt road behind the dunes, and around town. These are popular, so we recomend you reserve them in advance. Available for $25 per half day each.

Gift Certificates Available

You can purchase a gift certificate for night(s) at the inn, a discounted stay, and even package stays complete with nature tours or services. We will provide you with a gift certificate, postcard of the inn, tour coupons (as applies), and a "Captain's Inn" key fob. All will be packaged together for your easy gift giving. Gift ideas: Anniversary massage night, birthday nature cruise and lodging, $25 dollars towards a B&B stay, and more. Please call us to purchase certificates.
