Back to Things to Do

Elkhorn Slough Visitor Center -

The Reserve- 5 miles of hiking trails that wonder through a variety of habitats from oak woodlands to mudflats explored through briges.

Moss Landing Wildlife Area - Located North of Moss Landing, on the East side of Highway 1. There lies a short, easy trail adjacent to the main channel of the Slough. A great location to watch sea otters, harbor seals and migrating birds.

Kirby Park - A Slough-sode boardwalk that is the only wheelchair (and stroller) accessible trail at the Slough.

Slow Adventures' Walk the Bay - Walk the whole Monterey Bay on this self-guided inn to inn walking tour. Enjoy scenic harbors, coastal bluffs, quaint villages, river crossings, beautiful beaches and an abundance of marine life. Resting nightly in comfortable coastal lodges, we are the Bed & Breakfast for day #3 of the slow adventure walk.
